Source Spring is proud to announce the creation of Source Spring Health - an application development firm that specializes in the health care market.Source Spring's founder, Mellie Price, will lead the technology and business management aspects of Source Spring Health, while healthcare executive and entrepreneur Woody Runner will provide the health care industry expertise.
Ms. Price has a strong track record in launching and managing successful technology start ups - the most recent being Front Gate Solutions & Front Gate Tickets, a leading application development firm in the entertainment industry with a ticketing platform that services the sale of millions of tickets in over 700 cities across the U.S. and Canada. She also started Monsterbit (1993) - one of the first commercial web development firms in North America - and co-founded Symbiot Security (2001). Price has served as CEO, CTO, SVP, and VP of numerous technology startups and is an active entrepreneurial mentor with Capital Factory.
Mr. Runner has been a principal in a variety of companies in a diverse set of industries including healthcare, e-Business/Internet, financial services, outsourcing, manufacturing and distribution. Mr. Runner recently formed Surgery Code Solutions and acquired the assets of Total Chart, Inc., including its proprietary surgery coding platform that allows surgeons to efficiently code their surgery cases at the point of care. In 2007, Mr. Runner founded Three Questions, LLC with the simple goal of helping people improve their quality of life by providing self-service disease management and lifestyle tools. Since then, Three Questions has launched Med3Q, one of the first enterprise-class social networks featuring personal health tools; Project Diabetes, which provides patient-centric tools to assist the lives of persons with diabetes by helping them track critical personal health data via the web, mobile and voice applications; and Healthcare Fellowship Networks, which operates physician-centered social networks for elite medical and surgical fellowship training programs. In addition to serving as CEO of Three Questions, Mr. Runner is the CEO of Kerlan-Jobe, LLC, a board member for 820 Technologies, LLC, and a board member for Cornerstone Assistance Network. Source Spring Health will provide technology and operations management services to Surgery Code Solutions, Project Diabetes and Healthcare Fellowship Networks.
