Mellie Price

Mellie Price has over 15 years experience as a successful entrepreneur and senior executive in the information technology sector. Mellie founded Front Gate Solutions in 2003 to develop software that makes entertainment organizations more efficient. With products including a ticketing application and online store solution, Front Gate Tickets services the music, arts, film and sports industries.

Prior to Front Gate Solutions, Price was a co-founder of Symbiot Security, leaders in risk metrics for adaptive network security. Mellie's experience also includes serving as a senior executive with Human Code (1997), a leading software and application developer that was funded by Austin Ventures and sold to Sapient Corporation (NASDAQ: SAPE) in 2000. At Sapient, a leading business and technology consultancy, Mellie was a Vice President of the Media, Entertainment, and Communications division. Price started her career as a designer, programmer, and system administrator when she founded Monsterbit (1993), one of the first commercial web development and web hosting companies in the nation. She is a frequent guest speaker at industry conferences and a passionate instructor of anything to do with technology or entrepreneurship. Ms. Price holds a B.S from the University of Texas at Austin.

Jesse Jack

Jesse architected the software and infrastructure powering Front Gate Solutions' ecommerce and ticketing platforms. Prior to joining Front Gate Solutions, Jesse led the development of several Monsterbit projects including Avenue One and the Earth&Sky Radio Series. Prior to Monsterbit, Jesse worked as a consultant for Digital Mercenaries to develop Holt, Rinehart and Winston's HLLA companion website.

He was a senior software architect for Human Code and Sapient from 1998-2001 and developed software products for ecommerce, learning technologies and video games for clients including the IC2 Institute, Leapfrog Enterprises, Albertsons and THQ. Prior to joining Austin-based Human Code, Jesse worked for web design firm Cymfony.net in Buffalo, NY, after graduating from Alfred University with a B.F.A.

Woody Runner

Co-founder

W. Harwood Runner is a seasoned executive with significant interdisciplinary and industry experience that includes healthcare, technology, manufacturing and distribution, private equity, outsourcing and leveraged acquisitions. He was the founder and CEO of Three Questions, LLC.

Woody has also been CEO of Kerlan-Jobe, LLC, since 2004, and between 2003 and 2006 was acting CEO of Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. He continues as a consultant to the clinic. In addition, Woody represents investors in the governance of Sovereign Healthcare, a developer and operator of surgery centers and specialty surgery hospitals; is a principal of Cumberland Capital Corporation, a private equity investment firm that has directly or indirectly participated in transactions with aggregate values of more than $2 billion; is a director of 820 Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of digital identification technologies for the financial services industry; and is a director of Cornerstone Assistance Network, a faith-based community services organization. His career began as a CPA at a national accounting firm. He earned a degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
